This weekend I am especially thankful for the United States Military, particularly the Army.
Not only did the Army make it possible for Johnny to go to Wheaton so that we could eventually meet each other, fall in love, and get married, but the Army also happens to protect my country and others from dangers that we civilians could not handle on our own. Think and say what you will about whoever is in charge at whatever moment in time, but one thing is for sure, we should always be thankful for our men and women in uniform who put their lives on the line and their relationships on hold to protect us from those who want to harm us.
Hug a soldier today; I did.
