I decided to copy off of my mom's preschool class and buy a large oil drip pan to use for magnets. I had no idea where to find one, but thanks to my cousin Melody's quick iPhoning skills, we found that Wal-Mart carried them in the auto department. The plus side of having to go to Wal-Mart was that I could buy these alphabet magnets in the toy section for $0.55 a pack.

I told Lila that I thought we should write a note to Daddy. She enthusiastically agreed, suggesting right away that the note say "pig" and "airplane."
