When Wedding Bells Ring

Four and a half years ago I was lucky enough to marry into Johnny's wonderful family.  This last weekend, another girl FINALLY married into the family.  Johnny and I were so excited to fly out to Tennessee (leaving all wee ones at home) and celebrate with his cousin Keaton and his fiancee Cassie.

The wedding was at a beautiful vineyard outside of Chattanooga.

They had a fun cookie bar with cookies shaped like their doggy and other cookies that people in the family made.

They even had macarons instead of a wedding cake!

There was a blue grass band...

...that Johnny's Uncle Jack took advantage of.

And we experienced the whole thing while driving this teeny tiny little car called a Chevy Spark.  When we walked up to it at the rental car place, I thought it was a Fiat. We barely made it up the hill to the vineyard.  I kept telling Johnny he should just get out and pick it up.

It was a great weekend to get away and sleep in.  There's nothing better, though, than the hugs you get from your kids when you get home.
